I just acquired a NOS 24" extended ruler that I'd like to mount on my 24" Mastercut as I find the factory 12" ruler a bit limiting. The extension came with all parts but no instructions. Does anyone have instructions, or tips on how to do this and ensure that it comes out square? I contacted Rotatrim in England a week ago and have had no reply.

To verify the squaring arm is 90 to the blade, you can use an inexpensive draftsman's right angle and also make sure the distance from 24" on the cutting blade to 24" on the squaring arm equal to 33.94 inches.

It appears to replace the existing 12" rule across the width of the cutter's base.

Yes, you remove the 12" and replace it with the 24".

Bests,

David.
