tx thats what i thought! great input. will try with the small extension tube. if i use the 150mm heliar it will be for portraits, so so problem with bellows extension. gonna try tonightYou could probably start with the short extension tube or the SB spacer as the donor mount. it's going to be a bit complex and somewhat limited on lens choice. The 150 would probably work but that would likely be about the shortest lens you could make work this way, since all the RZ lenses are retrofocus. The throat diameter woudl be a limiting factor in some ways also, depending on the LF lens in question. Firing the RZ in Bulb mode is one option I'd think, or pre-release the mirror and use it that way (like when using a dual-cable release with the RZ).
thanks, exactly like that!!!mirror-lock-up: set R-M lever to M > shutter speed dial to 'RBL' > cocking lever > mirror is up >use shutter in your 'barrel lens' > make photo > mirror stays open > set R-M lever in middle position > use cocking lever: closing the mirror and transports the film > usw
(mirror-lock-up with RZ lens is with dual-cable release) How do you want to 'connect' the barrel lens to the camera ??
greetings
You could also buy a SL66SE who's accepting any "barrel" lens ! https://www.flickr.com/photos/77846450@N00/23011604043/in/album-72157652035347355/ beside the lens you only need some ducktape & soft board.
Owning a RZ67 pro II too I'm following your steps. Good luck.
tx, thats also a very good idea! will take a look. All Rb67 lenses are supposed to work also with the rz67. F.i. the 180 mm is constructed to make the whole lens group (all in front of the shutter) unscrew to make place for barrel lenses (sadly, though, it doesn't work with my sample, as something wrong with the assembly). But I was lucky to get a cheap, beat up rz110mm lens with a working shutter so I discarded the lens elements. It has a nice large screw mount in front (something like 40mm I think, sorry I don't have it around at present). Both ways could do?
