I have winder 2 for Olympus OM which is rather very loud and unpleasant to hear and it may be the know case for the winder 2. But is there any winder or motor drive that is quiet?

I think I fire the shutter from the camera release if I'm worried, I've forgotten the exact technique.
But normally unless the subject is wearing white pajamas and black belt I'm not terribly worried.

Cameras with integrated winder can be quiet. Examples coming to mind are the Nikon F4 and the Canon EOS 5.

Yeap, and it was you who told me that.
Press the shutter button on camera and then when you want to advance the film press the shutter button on the winder.

My Canon EOS 1-N RS isn't too bad. If that's a priority, you might look at other pellicle mirror SLRs.

I never used one (or heard one), but the Canon EOS Elan, from 1991, is supposedly very quiet. I remember reading that Canon used a belt drive, not gears, for the motorized film advance, making it much quieter than the usual. Take a look at the Canon Museum site for more info.
