I have a lens/shutter from a Moskva 5, body long-since gone.
I'm debating it's possible uses.
The front cell rotates the proper amount from 1,5m to infinity, but doesn't 'unthread' as it's rotated to 1,5 m.
I would assume it is for some reason not engaged in the threads, or maybe a previous owner even removed them. While it would be nice to know that the cells as spaced properly at infinity, and then put it on a 2x3 press camera, maybe I'll just do it without knowing their position and see what it does.
What I am also curious about is, since the Moment (24?) shutter is reportedly a Compur copy, is it likely to be a standard thread?
I am not rushing to pull it apart yet as the shutter works well, the lens at least focuses on a wall (long way from this to usefullness, however), but I wonder if it's a #1 size. The lens is f/3.5 and larger in diameter than a Wollensak Raptar or 101 mm Ektar from the same format, so I guess the threads are larger in diameter, too.
Thanks
