Moscow Chimp

No. He's much more talented than I am. And earns more from it than I do. And has nicer equipment. And probably gets all of the girl chimps as well...

Seeing the ridiculous prices his pictures are expected to command---- that's it, I'm dressing up in a gorilla suit and taking out-of-focus shots of things. I'll be rich!

They should give Mikki a digital- I think you can figure out why.
 
"Chimp Art" what next, the reintroduction of the Kodak Instamatic? All these years trying to master photography and all I had to due (as in pay my dues) was hire an "Artist" to guide me for peanuts.
 
This isn't so surprising, an adult Chimp has the same mental capacity as an eight year old human child, I remember in the 1960's an American documentary on TV made by a husband and wife team of zoologists who brought up a baby chimp called Washo in their home in the U.S. with their children, they dressed him in kids clothes and taught him and their children sign language so they could communicate with him, the Chimps intelligence was truly amazing and I've never forgotten it.
 
Remember "Pet Rocks"? This isn't about talent or skill. Just marketing and opportunism.
 
The first creatures the American space programme put into space were Chimps, they were trained to perform some basic functions in flying the spacecraft they are a lot more intelligent than most people think.

P.S The first American human astronauts , most of whom were still serving officers in the navy air force and marines were teased unmercifully by their fellow military pilots from their units, because Chimps had done it first .
 
What about the intelligence of Soviet dog ?
 
The chimp is probably a lot smarter than the average digi photographer - a least he'd have the sense to throw the camera at someone rather
than use it. In fact, digital photography is named after an ape: Digit was the name of one of Jane Goodall's chimps.
