I don't see why you shouldn't have different galleries for different types (or styles) of photography but you could just have different domain names/websites. You could then still use your own name. I'll probably do something like that in the future. At the moment I have a website that is just for flower photography but eventually I may want another that has photographs of different subjects, all printed by alternative processes, i.e.cyanotype etc.
 
I also have thought about this a fair bit. Although I don't entertain notions fame and my work tends to be much too inward to market, I have nevertheless found it useful to think about the optimal way to represent oneself. And in my case that means organizing a lot of rather disparate images in ways that people can approach them.

At this stage, I'd say: make whatever galleries you want, and do whatever helps you find your own photography. If you have the freedom (time, money, creatively) then exercise that freedom as thoroughly you can. Explore and experiment, and try to communicate, but... for a beginner, I think it is important to place the priority of impressing others as far down the list as your ego and your budget allow.
