I'm considering JandC's Pro 200 or 400 for some abandoned warehouse interior work and require more speed. I've used the 200 some time ago and remember it not having much expansion capabilities, is the 400 the same way?

Can anyone comment on the 400's characteristics. I'll be printing on graded silver paper.

Not a "pyro guru" but it is no better or worse than any other developer for expansion. Film determines the expansion capabilities more than the developer, in general. Where did you "hear" about this property of pyrocat? Was it "those people" who told you? tim

JandC was out of the 400 (big suprise) so I bit the bullit and orderd TMY400, I can't ever recall using Tmax, but from what I read it should be ideal for my application here.
