Is it a single or double reel tank? Does it only happen to the top film in the tank- or the side of the film closest to the lid? The lines look very uniform. Any chance at all the lid has a very small light leak and the lines are the spiral from the reels?
I had some streaking issues with med format b+w film. The problem went away when I stopped the pre-soak.

Jeff, I was not able to define it down to specific reels and stainless tanks as of yet. I have 2 x stainless tanks for 2 x 120 rolls in each and 4 x hewes reels. It is possible that the lids are bad I suppose? May not be too much of a waste to replace all of them?

I've two ss tanks; one with a 100% plastic lid, and one that is 100% stainless steel. The plastic one, after 20-30 rolls going through it, has many fine cracks in it from being pulled off the tank and placed on. If you put it up against a bright light and flex it with the light trap removed you can see them.. atleast you can on mine.

The ss tank with lid is an omega. It is awesome. I would only trade it for a fully-stainless kindermann tank. OT sorry..
