Sorry I'm late just found out that I am the host for this one. For Sept. and Oct. the theme is Objects Discarded along roadsides, parking lots, fields, etc. One rule ht objects cannot be staged they must be as you found them. This should be easy, and very interesting. I will post an example tonight or tomorrow. Have fun:smile:

I think this is a very good choice for a theme. A good thinker open to interpretation on many levels. I might have to give this one a go. Thanks.

If david b is around, it would be great if this thread could be made a "Sticky". I've already sent a note to the moderators asking that "Objects Discarded" be added to the title.

Thank you all for your comments so far. I was hoping this would be a fun and interesting theme. It appears to be off to a good start. Again thank you all I hope to see many photograph postings.

I like this! Have 2 cameras loaded, one B&W, one color. Let's see what interesting objects I can find!

This should be good as I had already been planning on doing the same theme for a series I was working on. I'm in.

I actually got out yesterday and shot some of the ideas that have been rattling around in my head. Sure hope they turn out.

Well if you consider these objects, then so be it, as long as they are not staged as you found them.

I uploaded one image as a test, I hope I did it correctly. I have a few more if this works out, what now? This is the first time I have submitted a photo.

Guitstik if you have a few more please share. The image you posted, very interesting, too bad that this happens so much. As photographers we can show either as being something sad or we can make light of it as well. Both will bring attention.

As a non-subscribing member, hpulley will need to add the photo by either:

1) attaching it as an attachment to a post; or
2) uploading it to another site, and linking to that upload in a post.

Of course, it would be an even better idea for hpulley to become a subscriber to APUG, and get full access to the galleries .
