I've submitted an image, but to be fair, it wasn't shot during the assignment period. My turn around time between shooting something and printing it can be (and has been) as much as five years apart, due to lack of darkroom (and/or film developing) access, although this particular image had a much shorter turn around time. I just thought it fit the theme quite well.

Alan, how do we go about viewing the submissions? I would like to see what the others have posted.

Go to the gallery and choose the monthly shooting competition. It also shows past contest entries of course.

When you click on gallery near the top of the page, scroll down until you see "Monthly Shooting Assignment" click on that and you will see all the submissions.

Okay I didn't make for Friday Had to leave early. There were many great submissions, I am not going to comment on technical abilities because I think everyone's here on APUG are far superior to mine. I liked the abandoned stove a lot but I think this one goes to the "Sailed Sunk Boat" by Zoopolis. A simple composition and great patterns in the mud both in the boat and on the ground. So Zoopolis has JAnuary and Febuary 2011. Thank you to everyone for sharing.

Nice selection of photo's. Went from heads,to feet,then discarded curb side stuff. can't wait what will finish off the year.

Yes this was a very nice selection of photos. I watched this gallery every day and again I thank you all. I wanted to make the selection last Friday but family decided to show up and I never got on the computer all week end, so my apologies there. I had a tough time selecting the winner it came down to the stove in the woods and the sail boat. And Steve since you are in So Cal Pm me so we can get together with Mike and go on shoot.
