Wasn't sure where to post this, but if you're thinking of getting to Moma NYC it's worth doing right now. The photography section is really great. There's always something nice there, but I can often pass throrugh it in 15 minutes w/o little enthusiasm. Yesterday I spent 2 hrs and had the biggest grin spread across my face the entire time.
The modern landscapes are, for the most part, nothing new. But the old masters they had hanging were stunning: Weston, Stieglitz, Steichen, Avedon, Nadar, Eggleston, etc.
Inspiring.
