My watameter is beyond adjusting and finaly has to be retired.
Instead of taking a chance with the old range finder adapters i was wondering if there is a modern range finder adapter I can put on top of my PerkeoII? "dont care about the looks".

I have a Gaoersi shoe mount rangefinder. Can't find the transaction, but I did deal directly with them. It is useable, although the split image is a bit small. Attached a couple of images.

Is it expansive?
THey sale it directly?
Do they even exist?
I can not find a website.

I have a Hugo Meyer, but I bought it so long ago I don't really remember where I picked it up; probably eBay. The rangefinder patch is very clear and easily seen. Sorry for the slight distortion...the wheel on the right really isn't that big!

Same Hugo Meyer here, but it's innacurate. Bought it really cheap figuring to have it adjusted, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Oh, I didn't mean to say bad things about yours or the Hugo Meyer finders in general, just to state my personal case. I knew it was off when I bought it. The store also had a Leica brand finder that was accurate, but MUCH more expensive. If I ever get around to having it adjusted, I expect it to be accurate and I'll be well ahead dollars-wise.

The Gaoersi I have is the same as the Fotoman (link above). It cost around AU$250 IIRC about three years ago.

Actually I just tracked down the email and found that the rangefinder is not Gaoersi, but indeed a Fotoman. I dealt directly with them as they had no Australian agent. It has a calibration function which has proved to be of some use.

I got 2 voightlanders in feet from england. Will test when they arive. I heard they are easy to calibrate.
