I recently purchased a Rollei 6006 Mod. 2, and I would like to use it with external flashes. I have two Yongnuo that I command with a transmitter. I use them both with a Fuji Xt2 and with a Canon F1New, and everything is ok, but on the Rollei, neither the transmitter nor the flash receive the impulse from the hot shoe. Oddly enough, a Metz Mecablitz M 400, designed for digital cameras, works. For now I manage to use the Metz as master and the two Yongnuo in slave mode, I was wondering if anyone has had experience of using the Rollei with flashes, and what type of transmitter could work connected to it.
Thank you

I use my 6008 with a Nikon SB-28 and it works fine (non TTL). Can you try triggering via the PC outlet of the 6006?

Did the camera hot shoe ever work? Is the camera new to you? Maybe some one had it apart and did not re-attachh the wires to the hot shoe.

Also, on the Yongnuo speedlight. Are you sure you are not in TTL mode? If you want TTL you need the special adapter and compatible flash.

Try cleaning the hot shoe on the camera. A pencil eraser works well for this. Also clean the contact on the bottom of the transmitter. If it still doesn't work, I'd check to see how far the pins extend out the bottom of your transmitter and if the center contact of the hot shoe is recessed at all. If all else fails, you can use a sync cord too. you don't have to use the hot shoe. It is also possible that the pin on the transmitter doesn't line up with the contact on the hot shoe. I doubt that is the problem but it is worth checking. Another thing to check is if your transmitter has multiple pins they might be shorting on the hot shoe confusing it.

Thanks everyone for the advice! Probably the problem is the compatibility between the hot shoe contacts and the pins on the flash and the different data transmission protocols of the flashes, so someone works and others don't. in fact the Metz works. The TTL mode does not interest me because I would like to use external flashes, with exposure metering, for portraits or still life. I think I will have to try various types of transmitter until I find one compatible.
I use a Radio Wizard all the time on a 6008 integral with not problem.
Could you tell me something about this trasmitter?

Sorry, my mistake. I meant Pocket Wizard. https://pocketwizard.com one of the original wireless strobe triggers. I use the one dedicated for Nikon speed lights because that is what I needed primarily, but they work fine with the Rollei 6008 integral and Hensel power packs and monolights. Just use a connector cord on the receiver for the strobes, the transmitter in the hotshoe

On my SLX a chinese made generic transmitter works as it should. I can also use it with the PC socket. The center contact should always work as a normal X contact.

Sometimes, the dedicated pins on a flash (or transmitter) will interfere with the dedicated pins on the camera, because they give signals that the camera is not expecting. If your flash has extra pins for TTL operation, this may be the problem, and you can try covering them up with a piece of tape, so that only the center contact is open.

nTTL of modern flash is not compatible with TTL-compatible flash hotshoe contacts.

If youf flash can be put into 'TTL' (which is a different mode from 'nTTL'), it can possibly work with TTL shotshoe contacts. For example, Canon flash have 'TTL' mode which works with Canon film TTL bodies, and its 'eTTL' mode works with Canon dSLR.

If a flash unit has an Auto (photosensor) mode, it should work with any hotshoe, as the Center pin and Edge contacts are all that are used to trigger a flash unit.
