modern equivalent of Agfapan 100

Years ago my favorite 35mm film was Agfapan 100 which I developed in Rodinal. This film had real character and the Rodinal brought out the film's really expressive grain. This was not obtrusive but had a lovely variegated quality unlike HP5 and Tri X today which to my eyes have rather boring pepper dot grain.
I have recently become aware that a whole range of "old fashioned" films are still being made in various European countries. Does anyone know if any of these are in any way like the old Agfapan 100?

did you ever try Fomapan 100.
Foma´s films are very similar to AGFA.

Since I don´t know what exactly you are looking for I cannot say if it will suit your needs but it is worth a try.

Don´t take Fomapan 200. This is a modern emulsion.

I assume you've tried the current Agfa APX 100, and it's not the same? It certainly has a prominent but beautiful grain, especially in Rodinal.

Thank you for your reply.Yes I have tried Fomapan 100-one roll. You advised me about R09 developer for it. I've recently moved house and have no darkroom yet, so I've not printed it , but it does look rather like the old Agfapan 100. Both have an emulsion which is matt. One difference; Agfapan 100 in Rodinal had a warm colour, like it had been developed in Pyrocat almost. Fomapan 100 has a cold tone.

Yes I have tried Apx 100. That was when I realised how good the Agfapan 100 had been! I liked the grain better and it just had a more gutsy look about it.
