I saw a great print from our own Steve Zimmerman at the state fair preview tonight. A few of us did not make the cut this year, but Steve's print did and it was stellar! Congrats Steve, good to see you tonight!

Congratulations, Steve.

I don't believe in "luck of the draw"; your image specifically "spoke" to the juror(s). You can't count on that happening frequently, as each juror comes into the selection process with his/her own visual baggage, not to mention mood(s). Your image made an impression, at the time, enough to be chosen on its own merits. Nice job!
