Hello,

I just recently started making VDB prints from 8x10 in-camera negs, and have quite enjoyed the process (I find it more forgiving than the pt/pd process, which I tried last year, with much less success).

My question -- will I get better results if I mix the VDB sensitizer from scratch, in other words, mixing up my own solutions of ferric citrate, tataric acid and silver nitrate, then combining them?

So far, I've only used the Bostick-Sullican pre-mixed kit chemistry. I wonder if fresher is better . . .

Thansk in advance.
