Ive been reading through the Darkroom Cookbook 2nd edition, and am interested in trying some of the neutral, warm, and cold tone developer formulas. I know this might sound a little silly, but will these warm / cold tone developers still have an effect on modern papers (ie develop a neutral tone paper in cold tone developer, and get a cold toned print?)?
Currently Im working with two fiber papers, Arista.EDU Ultra FB VC & Fotokemika's Varycon Variable Contrast. Before I jump into buying the chemistry and mixing my own developers, Id be interested to hear other peoples advice and experience with this.
Thanks for your help,
Martin
