Mixing Kodak Chemicals.

I'm sure this question gets asked often, but i need a bit of assistance mixing up some chemicals for the first time. I'm poor, so I don't want to eff this up and have to repurchase.

Should I use tap water to mix chemicals or filtered?

Develop. D76. Heat 3 Liters of water to 122-131F. Stir Power until dissolved. Add water to reach 1 gallon.
- After adding powder, Just top off with any temperature water?
Stop. Kodak Pro Indicator. Mix 1:63 to 16oz bottle.
Fix. 3L water to 63-78F. Add packet. Add water to reach 1 gallon.
Photoflo. 200 parts water to 16oz bottle. (no temperate threshold on water?)
Hypo Clear. 4 gallons 80F water. Add packet. top off to 5 gal.

Am I missing anything?

Just want to make sure I'm reading everything correctly. Thanks so much!

Add water to make a total gallon 3,8l total quantity, Not 3.8 more liters on top of the 3 you started with.

Should read D76. Heat 3 Liters of water to 122-131F. Stir Power until dissolved. Add water to make 3.8 Liters of solution.

Why would you pre-dilute Photo Flo?

Do not mix Photo-Flo up. It'll turn to stinky sludge with stuff growing in it that will make you gag just to look at it. Just use a few drops in the tankful of water and you'll be fine.
Mix HCA as a 1 gallon mixture and dilute upon each use.

Do NOT heat the water for mixing the fixer as this may cause it to sulfurize. An acid fixer is chemically unstable and heat can push it over the edge.

Tap water is fine for Kodak pre-packaged chemicalss as they contain chemicals to prevent problems from hard water.

Mix up just enough stop bath as will be needed. Use once and discard. Indicator stop bath is rather pointless for film development. If the color should change in the tank how will you know. Only useful for tray development of sheet film.

Add 2 to 3 drops of Photo-Flo to each 250 ml of water used as a final rinse. Use once and discard.

Ok. I used the word 'heat,' but 63 is not heating. Thanks.

Mix fixer 75 degrees or colder, or else it will cloud. Mix it in hot water and you get rotten eggs.
