missing PPD??? use Henna :)

Ok, maybe no one is missing PPD ... too toxic and there're good alternatives. But you can find it in very strange places, like henna for eyelashes.
Not only PPD but also p-aminophenol :smile:
Below you can find an Ortho litho film (Wephota FO5) developed in Henna for 5 mins.

The working solution is
Henna 4g
Sodium hydroxide 2g
WTM 500mL

It goes on to say that the reaction product is a hydroxyquinone.
So Henna , which is a 1,4 quinone, would be more like hydroquinone, not PPD.
But your label says the contents include other substances as well.

Yes, Alan and it was quite a surprise finding also the p-aminophenol. I knew about PPD used in some henna preparation as well hair dyes, but the aminophenol is quite a surprise.
