I hadn't seen the new Ilford packages in the flesh until this morning. What's with these giant powder packets? On the Kodak-branded side of things the XTOL packets are now a lot smaller.

Incidentally the new Ilford powder packages say made in USA while the new liquid bottles say made in EU.

the newer Kodak Brand stuff is mostly made by Photo Systems Inc. so the packages might be changing as Photosys streamlines their production.

Canada. I just thought it was kind of funny - these large Ilford packets. I also thought it might be of interest (trivia more than anything else) the new Ilford bottles of liquid products say made in EU.

The Canadian distributor, Amplis, apparently received a whole batch of developer in the new packaging that was mislabeled.
The name and other material on the package was correct, but what is actually print developer is described as film developer, or vice versa (I can't recall which).
So the new packaging is still a work in progress .

Ha! That's not a good way to start. I always blame the "Government, CIA " or Gremlins from the Kremlin for my computer mishaps
