ok, so I think its's time to move on/up from a Sony apps- limited lens choice and generally irritating to use. Nikon full-frame would be my obvious choice - legacy lenses and a certain amount of brand loyalty, but then I read Canon is miles better on focusing. I' m baffled at their Canon's model range though, and the lenses are what I really want either. Feels like the only choice is a z5, probably with 24 to 120 lens.

Well, how about a Sony A99II, full frame, shoots 15FPS (?) as A mount will use all Minolta and Sony A mount lens, gear and micro motor driven. Still on the market new with full warranty. I have a A77II and find find it easy to set up, color is great, for me it's that I'm not a fan of the EVF, most of the time I use a old but still decnet picture taker the A900.

Think of Lumix S1R or better, try it out with manual focus lens via an adapter and you`ll forget all the others...
