I'm a newbie here. This is kind of a shot in the dark. Recently bought one of these at an estate sale. I put in new batteries and a roll of film and it was working fine. About a month later I picked it up and the batteries were dead. I reviewed the manual and some online sites and could find no way to turn it off to prevent battery drain other than remove the batteries. Does anyone have any experience with this camera? Thanks!

I have one, no longer working, as I recall for the brief time it was working there is no battery off and on switch, if your going to shoot with it you need to remove the batteries.. The camera came with a battery storage case. You may have one of the last working DX3s, the camera that bankrupt AiC.
