This is a less-common LTM Russian rangefinder.

It's effectively a Zorki 4 without the slow speeds, which are what usually fail first on the Zorki 4 and other LTM Russian rangefinders. Only made for 2 years, this one in 1960.

This one came to me about 2 years ago in freshly CLA'd condition. Shutter has a good curtain, works at all speeds. Everything works except the self-timer.

The lens is a terrific example of the Jupiter 8, a very early 1953 version with excellent glass and no oil on the aperture, which moves smoothly and with just enough resistance. This is not the lens that came with the camera. I bought it separately and manually adjusted the rangefinder to match the lens, using a ground glass and a target on the wall, and a cell phone tower several miles away for infinity.

Classic, painterly Sonnar Bokeh.

Looking for $120 shipped in the U.S.
