In my usual 'camera store' (Actually the local ETSY charity shop) I found an almost 'mint' condition Yahica Minister III rangefinder. No results yet as I've yet to use it. In the meantime I've loaded Fujicolour 400. And given it an 'oufit' using a SLR zoomster case, dropping a Jessop 150A flash unit in the bottom and a Hama clamp & Leningrad 8 meter into the outer pocket.

The Leningrad meter was the result of trying to compare the camera's uncoupled meter on the dankest afternoon of January. It wouldn't read! Hardly surprising as most inbuilt selenium-cell meters are poor in low light conditions. Remembering the the Leningrad, which agreed with my Weston Euromaster, I found I had the space for it.

Future purchases include a monopod, so I can use exposures of under 1/30th @ f4. Once I could hand-hold to 1/15th, but suspect this may now be a stop too far!

I have a beautiful Minister III - really works well. Yes, the meter is the typical small selenium type, but I use it for B&W. When the meter won't read, just give it lots of exposure. Enjoy!
