This lens is immaculate. It is essentially perfect with crystal clear optics, no blemishes, rubs, dings or marks of any kind. One tiny, verging on invisible, speck of dust can be seen, but only if you are really nit picking.
It looks indistinguishable from a new lens that has been in someone's hands a couple of times and a very strong MINT. Comes with both caps and leather case.
Optically it is stunning and images are incredibly crisp even wide open.
Mechanically it is obvious this lens has seen next to no use, with crisp aperture, no stickiness or residue and a smooth focus action, with ample resistance.
I'm selling it to thin out my Leica gear and remove those items that I have not 'clicked' with. I just cannot get on with anything longer than 50mm on Leica-M and even that has to be on a 0.85 body!
The last few that have gone on ebay have gone for £1100+ in similar condition, in the US. A UK example sold for £890 with a dented retractible hood.
£950.
