Minox Belt Pack Idea

Always looking for a way to carry a couple of Minox's with me. I saw a Tamrack belt case for filters (the large one) and thought I could make something out of it. I sewed a separation in the second compartment and added two buttons for the chain ends.
This will not carry two Minox B's and two film cassettes. The velcro strap is secure on my belt and the magnetic closure is good.
If I need a flash or other accessories, well, I have to carry those separately. That's what my photo vest is for. It's just that the vest is kind of warm in the Summer.
Just thought I'd put this up in case someone else would like to try it.

Nice idea. With a case a fair bit larger than yours I carry my Minoxes one at a time along with another small camera (like Olympus XA).

For a single Minox I use a nylon belt-pouch made for kind of swiss-knives. I found one that even has in inner liner and fits perfectly.

Different strokes for different folks. I have Minox belt cases for C and LX but never felt comfortable using them. Feel the same way about belt cases for fountain pens. I prefer to carry my Minox cameras in my pockets (in cases just to keep out dust).
Currently reading a book by German soldier with photos taken using Riga Minox in Russian prison camps during years after WWII. Much of the time the author kept camera hidden in breast pocket.
In third grade us boys wore clodhoppers to school with a little pocket for a knife. Later, always carry knife in pocket. This, of course, depends on the size of the Swiss Army knife. Mine only has the essentials: blade, corkscrew and bottle opener.

This idea was for Summer when I don't wear jackets or vests. Otherwise, all my suit/sport coats, vests, etc. have buttons sewn on the inside pocket so I can carry the Minox's there. I usually don't wear things on my belt either, but today, everyone seems to have a cell phone on their belt so this is kind of the same thing.

I carry my Minox in it's leather never ready case and just put it in my pocket. I have to admit that it isn't ideal. I think I might start looking.....

Someone should start a Minox picture thread. I never see any Minox pictures on here.

Could carry an EC on a neck strap, no? I have used the appropriate belt case with a B or C, but will often just put the IIIs in my pocket.

Minox themselves offered a variety of bags:

-) classic ever-ready case (In a variety of models. But strange enough I never came across one with a neck strap mounted, only a wrist strap, if at all.)

-) wrist-case (in different models, all with flap lid and belt lug)

-) belt case (in different models)

-) shoulder bag (with moulded insert, for camera and separate flash)
