Hiya All!

I just bought a Minoltina-P with a working (gasp!) meter. However, upon advancing the film lever the shutter sometimes fires. If I advance it very slowly, almost to the end of the stroke, I'll hear a slight thud. I can then advance about two click more, return to start position, and then press the shutter and it fires. However . . . if I advance the lever with normal strength and speed, it sometimes triggers the shutter.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? And if so . . . what's your best guess at why and how to fix it.

Thoughts invited . . . solutions appreciated
