How many names can once camera model have? This XE is in exceptional shape EXC+ by US standards. Not even a scratch on the base plate. The lenses are also very nice but I don't (and won't) shine a flash light through them. I don't believe it proves anything. I cannot see any haze (though it might exist) and definately no fungus by holding the lenses up to a bright sky and using my eyeball. Works perfect and the only reason I'm selling it is I picked up a Minolta Dynax outfit awhile ago. If this doesn't sell I'll put the Dynax outfit up for sale. The 28 & 135mm come with the nice Minolta front caps while the 135mm has the correct Minolta hood.

Coming from the Canon world where bodies had an on/off switch, finding one on this body when I got a copy a few years ago was nice. GLWS.

Along with its brother the Leica R3 they probably have the quietest shutters of any SLR I can think of

The one amazing fact about the Minolta / Leica partnership is that Leica always did the electronics. R3, CL, early R4, always failed. Minolta's same design work perfect after decades.

My R3 has the usual flaky auto exposure. The two XEs here work fine. Had to replace a CL meter cell.. Love those quiet shutters though
