This one isn't as fancy as the X700. Meter works great. Fresh battery. 80-205 has some light stippled marks on the back of the objective lens.

Meter works great. Fresh battery. Lens is nice and clear. Battery door was cracked at one point, but I did a pretty good job repairing it with super glue.

I recommend the X-700 kit before anything else if you're starting out as a student. Minolta lenses are plentiful and the results from the optics are much better than any I experienced learning with my Pentax K1000. I just wasn't satisfied with the lens options I had at the time. It's very easy to find great lenses at a reasonable price. I generally stay away from zoom lenses when I can, but those Sigma zooms have always done great justice in my books. I replaced my standard 18-55 kit zoom with a Sigma version and it's much better buildwise and optically. Very strong build quality, so it will definitely handle a lot in my opinion. I think $150 is more than fair and I really hope you sell it to someone that will appreciate it as much as I do mine.

+1 on the x700. I have one that was given to me. I find the viewfinder to be very bright and it is very easy to get sharp focus. GLWS

You guys and some other comments elsewhere have made me reconsider selling the X700!

I'm going to edit the post and reduce the prices for everything else now to get them moving!
