I have a Minolta x300 that has been working great forever. For the last 3 rolls however, when I get to 27 exposures, the advance starts to lock up, and when it does advance, it feels like it has come up connected from the film, and isn't actually advancing. Any ideas? The last 3 rolls have been the same kind of film.
It seems like you have 24 exposure rolls in your camera. With the X300 a 24 exposure roll would give you 27 exposures that makes sense.
You see that at the back of the camera there is a slot there where you can tear off the top of the film box and put it there. That way you know what kind of film is in the camera and how many exposures.
A lack of further postings quite often indicate the "doh ! That'll be the problem " when you realise you can't get 36 shots from a 24 roll .
Though it would be polite to at least post a " thanks , I missed that ." If that was the issue .
Wouldn't be the first time I though I should have had more shots left on a roll than I had .
