Does anyone own or have owned the Minolta 50mm f/2.8, f/2 and f/1.8 Super Rokkor lenses for screw mounts? How similar are they in terms of barrel size, length etc.

I have never even heard of them described as such. I have never even heard of a 50mmF2.8 for a Minolta of any description .

These are all ltm lenses for Leica Barnack or Barnack copies.

I personally have never used them myself so could not comment.

The Camera's were only made for about a 10 year period, the one I have is here:

Minolta-35_1.jpg Minolta-35.jpg

The earlier models came with a "kit" 45mm f/2.8 then a 50mm f/2.8

The model I have came with a 50mm f/2 and the last version in the late 50s came with a 50mm 1.8. It was only in production for a year before Minolta stopped makeing LTM mounted rangefinders to concentrate on SLRs.

It's been tough getting information the lenses and cameras.

Never had the opportunity to use one but if they are anything like their SLRs I would believe they were well built cameras.
