My friend wants to sell his.Minty condition.I'd like to give it a test drive but the battery is T.K.O.
Where can I get an EXP-625 substitute in Canada?

Mike, Google, google, google.

You'll find that a commonly available 675 zinc air hearing aid battery, with a #9 o-ring (or short length of wire) as a spacer, works well. I've also read that a #41 o-ring works.

Dimensions:

#9 O-Ring (outer - 5/8", inner - 7/16", thickness - 3/32")

#41 O-Ring (outer - 9/16", inner - 7/16", thickness - 1/16")

There's also the Wein cell, another zinc-air battery specifically designed as a drop-ion replacement for the long-gone 625. Camera stores may carry it.
