Been having a blast! Next year we will also be doing cyanotypes, possibly from paper negs.

Cool! I bought the square pieces of cyanotype-treated fabric from Freestyle and we did a project making a Tibetian prayer flag sort of thing where we put them on a long string. And I also did the classic soak a big piece of canvas in cyanotype chemicals and laid it out in the sun for a big solargram (found objects, hands etc).

The Tibetian prayer flag thing sounds great. And one day I would love to do the big cyanotype soaked canvas print, too! That'll probably blow up my budget. I imagine a LOT of sensitiser needed.

I use a #9 oring in my OMs and SRTs.

I just tried this out and it works great! A 357 1.5v with #9 o-ring around it is now powering a SRT-201 that's been hanging around on the shelf for several years without being used. The extra voltage meters about 2 stops too much light and so I'm adjusting Ektar down to ISO 25.

I use a 675 hearing aid battery with the same O-ring. The voltage is closer at 1.4v, I don't do any compensation.

They didn't have any at Target when I went, and I was hot to do this, so next time I'll give them a try.

I use the 625G. It fits perfectly and the light meter in my works perfectly and is accurate. I guess it may have been recalibrated when the body was overhauled in 2009.
