Hello team,

I was given a rather nice 1967 Minolta SR1-V earlier this year, and it works a treat: well-exposed pics on all shutter speeds. I replaced a door light-seal and the mirror bumper foam as the originals were a bit cruddy. All else looks fine, but...

The flash X-socket won't work unless the mirror is locked up. The FP socket works fine. I've had the top off it and the bottom off it, but can't find where the X-contacts are. I know what I can do and I know what I can't do, and I don't want to fudge up a lovely camera by opening it up more than I need to. I suspect the X-contacts could do with a clean. Yes, I know I could just lock up the mirror before using flash, but then I can't see though the viewfinder!

Anyone?
