Does anyone know where I can get a instruction manual for this?
I've looked at all the places I know of and not found anything
Thanks

which model back are you looking for?

I have the back, I just need the operating instructions. Its the one that controls interval shooting , timed exposures etc. on the X-700
I can't find a model # anywhere on the back or the box either one, just "multi function back"
Thanks

flick me a PM with your email. I have a PDF copy.

PM sent
THANK YOU! I was at quite a loss on how to operate it

Mulit-function back for X series cameras

Despite being a long time photo enthusiast I just recently came across this great site! I was in a search for the instructions for the hard-to-find Multi-function back and came across this site and thread. I acquired the back for an upcoming project and have been stifled in finding instructions. Upon finding this thread I see that I am not the only one with the problem. Would someone please help me out?

Thanks in advance from North Georgia, USA

flick me a PM with your email and I'll hook you up if you still need the manual.

Hey! that outfit in that video is exactly like mine:smile:

except that mine isn't quite so shiny:sad:

oh well it works perfectly:smile:

Greetings to all! I also have this Minolta multi- function back on my X-700 and i'm looking for Instruction manual. Would someone help me, please?

Good morning, Brian;

You can also contact Mike Butkus; http://www.butkus.org/chinon/minolta.htm Mike does show the title on the Minolta page down near the bottom, so he probably does have it, but you need to contact him directly to request a copy of the .pdf file. And, you will find many other useful manual titles on his site. If you find Mike's site and manuals helpful, please contribute to the site to help continue having this resource available to us.

The Minolta X-700 with the MD-1 Motor Drive does just fit my hand perfectly. Everything is right where my fingers expect to find them. And, I have found that my Minolta X-700 with everything on it is still lighter and much more handy than my Anniversary Edition Speed Graphic.
