Minolta MD 50 1.4

I just purchased a Minolta X700 from a charity shop .Attached was a MD ROKKOR 50 1.4 Lense the camera is junk but the lens is good .Will this lense fit on a Minolta SRT 101

It sounds like you had a very lucky day. Several years ago I found a 3.5cm f2.8 Nikkor "tick-mark" lens for $5. You never know what you'll find at thrift stores or yard sales.

I would hardly call the Minolta X700 "junk"! Compared to the SRT 101, it is technically far more advanced, and one of the best Minolta cameras ever.

Sorry when i said junk i ment the camera was scrap as in someone had put their finger through the shutter .I have a very high regard for Minolta technology.

If it's just the shutter curtain damaged, it can be replaced.
