While searching for information about the aperture problem of the Minolta (Maxxum) 9000, I came across this thread on so-fo.de (German/English):

Here you will find an experience report on disassembling the 7000 as well as information regarding the function of the aperture mechanism and instructions on how to solve the aperture problem.

It may also be possible to derive insights for the 9000 from this.

With these papers and information, the 7000 is technically well documented.

This means that there should be a realistic chance of dealing with problems with the aperture control that occur similarly to the Minolta (Maxxum) 9000.

I will look into it in one of the my next projects.
