Hi everyone, I'm Taz from London, UK. I've recently discovered my decades old Minolta Dynax 7000i SLR that I've refurbished (i.e. cleaned up and put new batteries in). I bought some Kodak Ektar 100 film and have taken a few test photos. At the moment I don't know how the photos will turn out as they have yet to be developed and printed. The camera still seems in great condition and seems to function perfectly. The coating on the hand grip has perished somewhat.
I also found a box of Cokin filters that I remember using decades ago, together with a Sigma 75-300mm lens.
It has definitely brought back a lot of great memories from the early 90s for me, when it was always by my side. I used to use a lab called Colab back then to develop the film, but I believe Colab is no longer around these days so I'm trying to find a film development lab in the UK.
Anyway, I hope to share my rekindled experiences of the 7000i and re-learn all about 35mm photography from these forums. I will have some questions about a slave flash that I have for this camera as I have forgotten how to use it.
