I have one of the above with a misaligned rangefinder.Off vertically and horizontally, but otherwise working well. Can anyone recommend someone to do a CLA on this particular camera?I would go ahead and have a CLA done too if I found the right place.Or,failing that a good link to a CLE rangefinder adjustment.I tried DAG camera and Youxin Ye and neither of the two companies work on this camera. Thanks

Any competent repair joint should have no problem adjusting the finder. I'm sure there are a
lot of DIY threads online. CLA, maybe not as many willing to do it and I don't know if it's
parts or just a PIA.

You can contact Camerarepairjapan.com located north of Atlanta. I've had very competent service done there at a competitive price.

Cametarepairjapan won't return emails.I took the plug out of the top of the camera and found it relatively easy to adjust the horizontal problem, vertical is only barely off so I've decided to shoot a roll of film and see what I've got.I can live with it as it is as I don't want to have to remove the top of the camera to adjust the vertical image and run the risk of destroying everything. Thanks for suggestions.

Please report back how it works out, in case mine goes wrong. I just picked up my first CLE and am blown away at how I went so long without one. I don't see my M6TTL getting much use any time soon!

I did get an email from camerarepairjapan and they do work on the CLE.Naturally I would have to send it to them so that they could evaluate it and give me an estimate. In the meantime I shot a roll of acros 100 using the 28mm lens that came with the camera and the CLE flash.I used auto and manual settings and judging by the negatives all is working fine with the camera.I also used a the 40mm and 90mm designed for the Leica CL.All negatives appear well exposed and very sharp.Focusing with the rangefinder a little off vertically is no bother and I might just leave well enough alone.A beautiful camera, for sure.
