For sale is my Minolta CLE camera in mint- condition with a Leica 28mm Elmarit, version 4 lens. The camera looks great, with very little sign of use, no bright spots, and no scratches or dings. Everything works as new, the meter is responsive and accurate, the viewfinder is clean and clear with bright framelines. The winder is smooth and strong and the speeds seem accurate. The lens has perfect glass with no scratches, no fungus, no haze and no cleaning marks, the focus is smooth, the aperture ring works like it should. The outside of the lens shows some light wear, especially in the area where a hood would mount. This version of the Elmarit, V4, is the best of all the versions, in many opinions, because it has the great Leica rendering and atmosphere and is also as sharp as the asph model, whereas the asph model renders the scene rather clinically. The camera's widest framelines are for 28mm so this is a great match-up, especially for a compact, lightweight street shooter. The lens will come with both caps and the camera will come with a body cap. By the way, the lens has Leica's 6 bit coding on it for digital cameras if you want to use it in that way.
