Just wondering if anyone know if the Minolta Auto Meter II can use a 6V lithium battery rather than the recommended 6V alkaline battery?

Thanks,

Dave

I have a IIIF working with Lithiums happily. The 4lr44 got hard to find, and Radio Shack/Circuit City/The Source found the lithium swap battery for me.

I have a Pentax meter that takes this battery. It can live with any of the three types of this battery available: alkaline, lithium, or silver.
