Minolta 35mm

One or two folks are revisiting 35mm and having to buy old cameras, just as I have done. I went Minolta after years using other trusted but now defunct makes. One of the reasons for choosing Minoltas was because of service availability local to me.
Ive found SLR Camera Repairs in Bletchley excellent for service. They really know Minoltas and have serviced all mine. Reasonable charges and quick turnaround. Highly recommended.

Hi hectorpaljr. Based on our pm exchange I will take it you live in N'pton or very close. How does SLR in Bletchley compare to Skears on the Wellingborough Rd in N'pton in terms of charges, skills, range of cameras serviced etc - assuming or course that you have used Skears. Local info is always nice to file away

I've used Skears, for medium format lens work, and found their charges reasonable, and work satisfactory. I would certainly use them again.

Ive never used Skears but their reputation is good. I use SLR because they are Minolta specialists.
