I am selling a Minolta 35 rangefinder body model F in good condition. The Minolta-35 is a Leica thread mount rangefinder. One important feature distinguishing the Minolta 35 from its peers is its hinged swing open back, which makes film loading simple and easy. The Minolta 35 is both collectible and very usable. Most Minolta 35's today need to be rebuilt, so finding one working like this one is uncommon.

All functions are correct. The shutter speeds sound accurate (both slow and fast), the rangefinder patch is bright and aligned, the film advance smooth, the door latch correct, the self timer is working, and the film counter is working. There is some minor haze in the finder. The shutter curtains are in good condition, which is quite uncommon for this camera, although one curtain may have a slight wrinkle. The curtains appear to be light tight. Cosmetically the camera is in very good condition with no damage and the chrome plating still has a dazzling sheen.

Minolta 35's in good working condition are now rare, so grab this one if you are looking for a really fine classic of this genre!

Price: $275 OBO plus insured shipping

I ship to most countries. I accept checks, money orders, and PayPal.

I had one of these; sadly the shutter had gone bad and someone had varnished or put something else on it to make the curtains rock hard. It is a well built camera and no lightweight. Well constructed and had it been working or repairable economically, I'd have built a kit around it.
