Folding camera using 120 film that shoots either 4.5x6 6x6.

Anyone know much about these cameras (at least more than is offered at >>Camera-Wiki<<)?

There's one for sale locally, and I'm wondering if it's worth taking a lot at.

As John says, they are great cameras. A little bit quirky in that the focus mechanism moves the film plane. If it’s service history is unknown you may want to get at least the shutter serviced before using it much.

Sounds like a clone of the Mamiya Six? I've got one with the Olympus Zuiko lens, great camera.

Thanks for the responses. The one I'm looking at has an asking price of $120. Seems a bit on the steep side for me, being that I know little of the camera and/or whether it will even function properly. I may just wait and see if it sells and whether the seller is willing to come down in price.

I paid close to $200 for my Mamiya Six, but the Zuiko lens is (IIRC) a six-element similar to a Xenon, and the Mamiya is a better known make/model. Mamiya also carried the line a little longer, adding automatic frame counter (for both formats, in some models), and had coupled RF from the beginning.

Another option with moving film plane for focus is the Ensign Commando, but they're less common and, in good shape, at least as expensive as a Mamiya 6, despite being older.

To clarify, I'm not suggesting the present asking price is out of line; just more than what I would want to spend on a camera I'm totally unfamiliar with (and to be honest, don't really need).

Looking closer at the pictures, I just noticed that the shutter speed dial is bent (this was also in the description, but I didn't see that until now as well):

I think I'll pass on this one.
