Saw Utah doing this and thought it was a good idea. We ought to compile a list that each of us has access to. I'll start. Mine is flash19901@comcast.net. Re: APUG in the comment line please. Thank you.

It seems the Mid Atlantic group is geared more for Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Does this group include Virginia?

Absolutely. Anyone from North Carolina on up, and West Virginia and East is welcome. I think the early events have been scheduled for the Maryland/Delaware area because A: that's where the people organizing them are from, and B: they're somewhat more central so that anyone travelling to get to it is travelling about the same distance/time. If folks from Philly/South Jersey and folks from Virginia come to Baltimore, that's about halfway for either extreme. If we did something in Philly or Hampton Roads, most folks would be driving for 3+ hours to get to it, making it hard to do in just one day.

In regards to the email, I will gladly send my email address to anyone organizing the mailing list, or anyone who wants it via PM, but I don't want to post an email address on an open forum like this- that's an invitation to get spam.

I'm in agreement here. Spam sucks, so I don't want to post my email address on an open forum either. If whoever is compiling the list will PM me, I'd be happy to reply with my email address and would like to be included.

Thanks,
Will

You can also put me down on that list. I'll provide my e-mail as well. I only live about an hour north of Philadelphia and am about 30 miles from NJ off I78.

Hope you guys and gals don't object to those of us shooting transparencies instead of B&W.

Rich

Hey- as long as it's film, I don't think anyone would object

[<HIJACK>]

Just another reminder, the May 6 outing to Baltimore is coming up quick. If you've seen some of the images I posted from the dry run, it will be a great get-together. The morning will be spent at Druid Hill Park, then on to Mount Vernon for lunch and portfolio sharing at Never On Sunday (a greek restaurant), some shooting around Mount Vernon Square, then the afternoon on to Cylburn Arboretum. For those inclined, a post shoot dinner/beer tasting is in the cards at Brewers Art, also in the Mount Vernon area. [</HIJACK>]
