I'm a relative recent join here and want to know if folks have had experience with a local lab. I've been using Colourworks in Wilmington, DE to run E-6 and C-41 medium and 35mm film for about a month. They claim to be one of the few east coast places still doing their own E-6, and they seem to do a lot of it. So far, so good with processing film in both chemistry and scans, but I now have some stuff I'd like optically printed in 16 x 20 or 16 x 16. Does anyone have any opinions of this lab, good or bad? I like the convenience of dealing locally, but don't mind working with a more distant lab, if there is a reason to. Thanks in advance for any guidance.

They are one of the best. Not familiar with any others, folks in DC and Philly might chime in. But these guys just do good work.

I went to Chrome down in DC awhile ago on a good reference, but they completely butchered a couple rolls of E-6. I just do all the film processing myself anymore. There's a place called Tech Lab in Baltimore where I used to know someone that worked there, but I've never had taken any there to do. That's all I know of that's still left around here.
