Ahha.. a dumb question when you think about it, for just one or two sheets!
The reality of the situation is that the neg has to be totally immersed for even development.
Have to check what that is for my situation, but probably a minimum of 200 mm, but will have to go back to the math, for the inside diameter of a 2" ABS pipe.
Or keeping it simple, the 1.5" container is about 9.75" long, and holds a little less than 12oz. Divided by three gives ya 3.25".coverage area for 4oz, and that would be the absolute minimum..
So for mixing 1:1, to keep it easy, 100m x2 =200mm or about 6.75 oz ..
Now to the funny farm... in imagination, .. a tray 2.5" x 3.5", filled with 31mm of solution, would there be enough to immerse the negative adequately to be developed? Would have to go back to the math!!!
Ah forgetaboutit... will just go develop some film.. that's more fun!
