I can't find a manual either but I think you can guess as how it's supposed to work. I understand that it's a remote sensor to be mounted on the hot shoe. It offers more auto ranges, more power ratio in manual and possibly a more restricted angle of view.

I have a Mecamat 45-46 manual...39 pages! I can scan it into PDF and send it to a Private Conversation provided email address.
