It should be. It has two metering modes: evaluative and partial.
Having a look at the manual, I think the camera operates in evaluative mode by default, but the user can engage partial metering at the press of the dedicated button under the right thumb:

IDK whether this toggles the metering mode, or whether partial metering is only engaged as long as the button is pressed. If you give the manual a thorough read, you will likely find a hint somewhere about its operation.

If that was just that simple ... Unfortunately, can't find a single word on metering modes in manual, the button you circled is to change f - number
