Has anyone ever been able to order anything from the folks at Meteredlight?
It seems they are on some strange business model where you have to have the secret decoder ring to get someone to answer the phone. No one ever answers their email.

They have a web page error. If I were interested (an I am not) I would spend the dime and call the biz owner and let him know. It's a shame.

I assume this is about their meter, as their MetroLux is available through Calumet. Regardless, I think jjstafford is right and you should call for better service. 1.415.452.9923. I talked to Karl at MeteredLight today. There are delivery issues with the meters that are being solved. Something about parts delivery and microprocessors. Anyway, he promised he would check the emails tonight. But just in case, call him, too.

If you have questions about the Pocket Spot or MetroLux, let me know. I use both and can probably answer questions. For product, ...it sounds like it will be soon.

Loose Gravel,
Yes, I am interested in their Spot Meter. It sounds pretty good. I've never been able to get them on the phone though. That worries me a lot. Their supply line sounds a bit dodgy too. These things make me worry about service if I ever need to send it back...

Foraker, try leaving your phone number and Karl will get back to you. He's busy, but pretty good about help. Pocket Spot is still pretty new, and getting a new product started is pretty tough. MeteredLight is just a couple of folks making MetroLux and Pocket Spot for a small market and dwindling market. They both have "real" jobs and do photo stuff for fun.

It should be noted that MetroLux has been around 'forever' and they still work and you can still buy them and get them serviced. There are many big name suppliers that you can't say that about.
